Welcome

“The Steering Committee members have pledged to run the society during this interim period and to ensure that no personal agendas affect actions or decisions and that the society represents all members, and that we do our job in a straight-forward, open and business-like manner.”

Background

On 1st November 2007 the entire Council of The Dexter Cattle Society resigned, with the exception of Fiona Miles, after putting a Steering Committee into place. Many people on the previous council had put in years of good service and I am sure all of us would like to express our thanks for their hard work and also our respect for having the mettle to do what they did for the benefit of the society.
